19th July 2025, The “Club Officer Learning Seminar (COLS)” was jointly organized by the Rotary Club of Hetauda and the Rotary Club of Makawanpur. This type of training, with 40 participants including the trainer, was conducted for the first time at the initiative of the Rotary Club of Hetauda. The one-day training program was organized with the aim of educating the club’s new executive committee and officers about effective leadership, club operations, and various aspects of Rotary.

The training program was conducted by experienced trainers from Rotary District 3292. Region 6, Joint Secretary Dr. Rewant Bhattarai provided training on Club Admin, Rtn. Arpana Pradhan provided training on Service Projects and Rotary Foundation, Rtn. Bharat Pokharel provided training on Public Image, and Region 6 New Member Orientation Sub-Committee Chair Bishnu Prasad Sharma provided training on Membership.
District 3292 Microcredit Chair Dhiraj Kumar Karki provided information about the background of the microcredit program run by the club and how they can help in its operation.
Rotary Club of Hetauda President Pramesh Pradhan urged all the office bearers participating in the program to play a responsible and active role in the upcoming term. He expressed his belief that this type of training would enhance the confidence and planning ability of the officials.
The program, which was conducted by the club’s secretary, Ram Bahadur Thapa and attended by District 3292, Zone 35 AG Hari Kumar Shrestha, Zone 34 AG Dhan Bahadur Shrestha, and all the board office bearers and members, including the avenue chairs of both Rotary clubs.
