17th August 2025, This year, a special Teej program was held grandly with the enthusiastic participation of the sisters-in-law and Rotarian members of the Rotary Club of Hetauda. The sisters-in-law participating in the program gave a collective presentation on the religious, cultural and social importance of Teej and gave the message that Teej should be celebrated as a festival of unity.
The participants, rejoicing in the songs of Teej, presented their art through dance, songs and poetry. To make the program more attractive, various entertaining games and prizes were also distributed. At the end of the program, a bingo game was also played with the participation.
The officials of the Rotary Club of Hetauda said that such cultural programs would provide great inspiration to further strengthen women’s participation and leadership. In addition, it was believed that the program would promote mutual harmony, friendship and cultural identity among the members.
