16th August 2026, A 1-week skill-based training for students has been jointly organized by Rotary Club of Hetauda, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City Ward No. 9 and Pragati Secondary School, Lamsure. At the closing ceremony, where Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City Mayor Meena Lama was the chief guest, the trainers who facilitated the training, participating students and supporting organizations were honored with certificates. The chief guest of the closing ceremony, Meena Lama, expressed gratitude for the fact that future education should be skill-based and that the Rotary Club of Hetauda has always been doing excellent and exemplary social work.
Ward President of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City Ward No. 9 Sukram KC, Rotary Club of Hetauda President Pramesh Pradhan, Chartered Member Vijay Kumar Vaidya, and others expressed their views on the training. The closing ceremony of the training, conducted by Kishor Parajuli, Principal of Pragati Secondary School and President-elect of Rotary Club of Hetauda, was presided over by Gyanendra Lamichhane, Chairman of the School Management Committee.
The training provided basic knowledge of electrician, beautician, hair cutting and barista to the participating students.
