10-16 August 2025, With the slogan “Let’s learn skills, let’s build a future”, the Rotary Club of Hetauda has organized free skill-based training for students with the aim of making the youth self-reliant. The 7-day training will be held at Pragati Secondary School, Hetauda-9 from 10-16th August 25. The training will include electrician, beautician, barista and hair cutting.

Started in collaboration with Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City No. 9 Ward Office and Pragati Secondary School, Hetauda, this training will give participants the opportunity to learn useful skills in practical life, which will help them in future employment or entrepreneurship.

Inaugurated by Lalit Ghalan, Chief, District Coordination Committee, is to provide practical skills to the students along with their studies and make them economically capable and job competitive. In addition, there is a plan to encourage students to start their own small businesses using the skills learned from the training. In particular, priority has been given to students who are financially weak but enthusiastic about learning.
This training, which will be received by about 100 students, is completely free of charge and is conducted by experienced trainers with an emphasis on training and practical practice, said Pramesh Pradhan, President of the Rotary Club of Hetauda.
The training inauguration program was attended by past presidents and office bearers of the Rotary Club Hetauda, chairpersons and office bearers of the School Management Committee, teachers, parents, and trainers providing training in various fields.
