Rotary Club of Hetauda

The Rotary Club of Hetauda was chartered on the 17th of October 1992 with 20 members. The Club Charter was presented to Charter President Late Narayan Prashad Pradhan. The members of the newly formed Club agreed to support the Rotary Foundation by becoming Paul Harris fellows. 

“Rotary Club of Hetauda” is a club among 32,000 clubs of Rotary International, under District 3292 Nepal, a volunteer organization of business & Professional leaders who provide humanitarian service to improve Communities through international partnership and guided by the motto of SERVICE ABOVE SELF.

Since the chartered day 17th of October 1992, Rotary Club of Hetauda is tremendously active for Providing Educational, Health, Water & Sanitation, Environmental Protection, World Peace and many more services with great enthusiasm and zeal right to the needed community.

Rotary Club of Hetauda has accomplished vivid social responsibilities by its dedicated members personal efforts and with partnership locally & globally. General Health camps, specific health camps like Eye, Child, Dental, Gynecology, Cancer detection & awareness, Polio & Disability awareness campaign, Wheelchair distribution, medical equipments distribution, Buffalo & goat distribution for micro income generating activities, safe Drinking water supply & sanitation, Micro Hydro power plant, establishment of Rotary Dialysis centre, are the noted projects, the club has accomplished, being involved and will be working continuously. Besides community projects the club is equally active in vocational trainings for livelihood & career development.

As the club tremendously active in community benefits it is being equally active for in-house membership increments and development through family fellowship program.

Handikhola Drinking Water Project, Renovation of School Building structures, Deep Boring water Supply of Community Eye Hospital, Rotary Higher Secondary School projects and Micro Credit projects are the outstanding projects of the club.

It is our pride to claim that Rotary Club of Hetauda is one of the pioneer and leading social entity in the field of educational support which may proved by our district recognition towards the club achievements in this sector and further that the club is willing & ready to co-ordinate other stake holder in this sacred field of education for future endeavor of the community at large.
